How We Began . . .
Having worked for 15 years as a hair stylist, founder Lindsay began Lennon and Lime when on maternity leave after having her son, Lennon.
"I found it really hard to find comfortable, fashion forward clothing that I liked, so I started making my own. Soon, I had people asking where I got his clothes, which is how Lennon and Lime began!"

Starting with leggings for her long-legged baby, she dabbled with different styles and began expanding into rompers, hoodies and screen printed shirts. Taking a chance, she decided to pursue her new found passion instead of returning to the salon full time. With a sewing room set up in her basement, she hustles between parenting her son and newest addition, daughter Cleo, and running the business. The risk paid off, and Lennon and Lime keeps growing!
When she's not busy creating new designs and sewing up a storm, she and her kids are outside enjoying all the great things Vancouver has to offer. They have fun snowshoeing, skiing and hiking with their fur baby, a pitbull-pug cross, Ella.
WHERE WE'RE GOING
We love fashion, and experimenting with new styles. We aim to do a couple of collections a year, with exclusive fabrics designed in-house just for Lennon and Lime, as well as some limited edition prints for holiday specials.
While we have done tee shirt graphics in the past, we don't plan on making them a permanent fixture just yet. As we like variety, our clothing is handmade in small batches and changes frequently, so strike while the irons hot!

Clothing for Boys and Girls
Lennon and Lime was started with a desire for cool clothes that weren't the typical cutesy kid prints, colour palettes or style. We believe all of our prints and clothes are gender neutral - and will never make gender specific prints or styles, in classic baby pastels - there are plenty of other stores that do that already.
We love to showcase on our site and our Instagram how our clothes can be worn . . . by anyone!
